"The first step in solving a problem is recognising there is one."

-Will Mcavoy, in the TV series "The Newsroom".

All of us face many demands in our lives, and sometimes it can help to talk over, in a caring atmosphere, the points that concern us most with a trained professional. Minerva -Inner Wisdom- offers an unique approach to psychotherapy which profits from the ancient wisdom of several cultures as much as modern knowledge of psychology and psychotherapy, based on scientific research and personal and professional experience.

"KNOW THYSELF!"

was an ancient Greek motto, inscribed at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. Today it is just as important as it has been 2000 years ago. Only if we truly know ourselves can we face life's challenges and make the best choices for a fulfilling life. When we decide to work together, I will help you at finding your authentic self, and together we can help you reach your full potential.

This website tries to give you a little insight into what you can expect working with Minerva -Inner Wisdom-. On the 'Therapy Offered' page you can find out more about me, my training, and personal experience. The 'Story' page contains a story by Hermann Hesse, which I find quite inspirational, as well as a poem by William Earnest Henley.

The 'Free Self Help' page will soon contain documents which I found personally useful, and which I would therefore like to share. And finally, the 'Contact Page', which besides the contact details, offers an insight into the counselling and therapy rooms, and also gives you an idea what our first session would be about.

I very much hope you are able to overcome any hurdle, which blocks your ability to enjoy a fulfilled, joyous and connected life, so that you can reach your unparalleled promise and potential.

If you think I could support you in this, I would be happy to help.

With warm wishes,

Marc
